Diminished Sex Drive

Loss of libido is common in perimenopause and menopause. Almost everyone experiences peaks and valleys in sexual desire, which may be caused by a variety of factors.

In perimenopause the major cause of low sex drive is a hormonal imbalance. A decrease in the three major sex hormones, oestrogens, progesterone and androgens/testosterone will result in a loss of sex drive and a lack of energy. Sex drive may also decrease or dwindle due to other menopausal symptoms, which are also related to a hormonal decline, such as fatigue, vaginal dryness, loss of sexual feeling, depression, weight gain, or even because of prescription drugs, including medication prescribed to treat menopause symptoms.

It doesn’t have to be like this; restore your body and obtain ‘balance’ and optimal health!
